Overview

Skedlii lets you schedule posts for LinkedIn profiles and company pages, so your B2B content fits smoothly with all your marketing channels. Plan, approve, and publish your LinkedIn updates confidently, all in one place.

Requirements

  • For Profiles: You need to sign in with your LinkedIn account.
  • For Pages: You must be an Admin or have permission to post on the page.
  • When connecting, allow Skedlii to post on your behalf and manage your pages.

Connect LinkedIn

  1. In Skedlii, go to Dashboard → Social Accounts.
  2. Click Connect LinkedIn and sign in to your LinkedIn account.
  3. Allow the permissions Skedlii asks for to post and manage your pages.
  4. Choose which profiles and pages you want to connect.

Supported post types

  • Text posts (including hashtags and emojis)
  • Link posts (LinkedIn will create previews)
  • Image posts (single or multiple images)
  • Video posts (MP4 format)

Media & copy tips (recommended)

  • Images: JPG, PNG, or WebP; up to 7680×4320 pixels; square or wide formats work best
  • Video: MP4 format; 3 to 15 minutes is ideal for organic posts
  • Links: previews are generated automatically; make sure the link allows previewing
  • Copy: start with a strong hook in the first 140–220 characters; use 3–5 hashtags

Create and schedule with Skedlii

  1. Click Create Post and pick your LinkedIn profile or page.
  2. Write your post, add links, images, or video, and check how it looks.
  3. Optionally, add your post to a Collection to track campaigns.
  4. Choose to Publish now or Schedule for later.
  5. Save your post — it will show up on your calendar and queue.

Approvals & collaboration

  • Use Drafts to work on posts together and get feedback from teammates.
  • Turn on Approval workflow to require sign-off before posts go live.

Best practices

  • Share helpful or insightful content — these posts get better engagement than just promotions.
  • Use clear, simple images; avoid too much text in visuals; keep your brand colors consistent.
  • Add links once with a clear call-to-action; use tracking links for better marketing insights.

Troubleshooting

Page not listed — Make sure you’re an Admin of the page. Try reconnecting and allow all permissions.

Token expired — Go to Social Accounts → LinkedIn → Reconnect; your scheduled posts will continue after refreshing.

Invalid media — Try saving images as JPG or PNG and videos as MP4; check file size and dimensions; ensure links allow previewing.

Known limits

  • You can’t schedule posts for past dates; all scheduled times must be in the future.
  • Some interactive LinkedIn posts like polls or events may not be supported through Skedlii.
